There is a Graves Mark IV on Ebay. Search using faceting machines. Lots
of laps and rough with it. Auction ends in 20 hours.  Alan

Time again to remind everyone of the Micromounters Symposium in
Hendersonville, NC on Saturday, Sept. 4th in the Salvation Army Building on
4th and Grove streets. Hours are from 9 to 4 or whenever.
A light lunch will be available at a reasonable cost to participants.

Not into micro's? Visit the HCGMS annual Gem & Mineral show at the Whitmire
building on Lilly Pond Rd., Sept. 3rd thru 6th. A wide variety of mineral
specimens, some rough material, jewelery, craft supplies, displays. A snack
bar will be available

The Mineral and Lapidary Museum is also open, located on 4th and Main. A
very interesting place for all to visit. Web site:
http://www.mineralmuseum.org/

The Hendersonville Apple Festival also runs that weekend from Friday through
Monday on Main Street. The street is blocked off and many vendors, food
(apple treats) and events. A shuttle will be running from 4th and Main to
the Gem & Mineral show.

regards to all,
Earl
