From: "P. Miklik" <b-daw@pacbell.net>

hello paul, david, chuck, don, sue, karen, thelma & louise and
everybody! and george!.
my first order of business is to say thank-you, paul for leading us out
to pick up our cutting material. picking your own material is not as
easy as driving to a show nearby and paying for it. i worked very hard
picking rock and i am happy with my cache. i ended up with about 5 big
pieces and a bunch of little ones, a few volcanic bombs and i also
collected a couple bags full of bomb innerds. the bomb innerds consist
of an aggregate of peridots. i am optimisticly hoping that if i break
up some of these pieces i might find a few more peridots. some of it
also looks like it may be good for cabbing/inlay. the green peridots,
on closer inspection, range from clear, yellow, kelly green to dark
olive green. i also picked up one i thought was black, but on
inspecting it with a light it is green inside. just very dark on the
outside
.. it was exciting to find that it was green! i have alot of cutting to
do now. i cant wait to show off my cut stones. the ones i collected
myself. most of the stones i have cut were all collected by somebody
else. (i have 1piece that weighs 10ct and a couple of 9cts and going
down from there.)
also, all of the people i have met, interested in rocks/minerals, are
all very nice. our group this last weekend were all very friendly. a
nice little group. nice meeting everybody and i am looking forward to
going on another collecting trip with you all.

AT WORK.....You spend most of your time in a 6x8 cubicle.

IN PRISON...You get three meals a day.
AT WORK.....You only get a break for 1 meal; you have to pay for it.

IN PRISON...You get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK.....You get rewarded for good behavior with more work.

IN PRISON...A guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK.....You must carry around a security card and unlock and
open all the doors yourself.

IN PRISON...You can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK.....You get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON...You get your own toilet.
AT WORK.....You have to share.

IN PRISON...They allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK.....You cannot even speak to your family and friends.

IN PRISON...All expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work required.
AT WORK.....You get to pay all the expenses to go to work, and then
they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

IN PRISON...You spend most of your life looking through bars from the
inside wanting to get out.
AT WORK.....You spend most of your time wanting to get out and go
inside bars.

IN PRISON...There are wardens who are often sadistic.

Hello all, I still have a Xristal-Tek87 for sale. I am reducing the price
because I really have to sell this fine machine. I have cut maybe 15 stones
on it. It is basically brand new and in perfect condition. It has the 8"
adapter ring on it and the dial indicator. It is a very sturdy rugged
machine. I am reducing the price to $900 and will still consider all
offers.

Thank you,
